AL HIND YOUVA SANGH (AHYS) social development and welfare society is a Non-Profit voluntary organization engaged in social development services was registered on 2003 under the society registration act - xxl of 1860, by group of professionals who shared the common dream and had some together to work on a people-centric model of development in area, like public health, education, gender, child welfare, community development and social welfare. AL HIND YOUVA SANGH (AHYS) started 18 years ago when Mr. Abdul Wahid Siddiqui and a few like-minded individual started the first movement against child labour and bonded labour. AHYS is actively involved at many levels - from working with community at the grassroots to advocacy for policy change with policy makers. Since its inception in 2003, AHYS has rescued more than 2000 child bonded labourers. AHYS is a grassroots level, secular and development oriented, which is convinced that sustainable community development it only possible if and when all elements such as economic, social, political, environmental and cultural are brought together and systematically integrated. Our focus areas for Urban slum & Rural Development Our Urban slum & Rural Development Program aims to improve the livelihood options and works towards social and economic empowerment of the rural and urban poor and women. The organization intervenes with the community through the following themes or programmes: institution and capacity building, social development, and livelihood, Education, Health and Family welfare, Sustainable livelihood, Social causes. Vision "To develop healthy relation with government, NGOs and community groups for better implementation of projects and to ensure their involvement, ownership & sustainability" Mission & Objective To provide a better opportunities and alternatives for upliftment of underprivileged groups especially women and children through better aids.
