The dalits or scheduled castes (SC) have been historically marginalized communities in India. Al Hind Youva Sangh are working to eradicate untouchability, protect civil rights of members of the SC community, prevent atrocities against them, promote employment and employability, promote inclusive development, policy research and advocacy, reduce inequality, etc. 

Some of the activities undertaken by Al Hind Youva Sangh contribute towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal- SDG 1- No poverty- End poverty in all its forms everywhere SDG 8- Decent work and economic growth- Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all, SDG 10- Reduced inequalities- Reduce inequality within and among countries and SDG 16- Peace, justice and strong institutions- Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective and accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
